I am a lifelong public servant who has built my life around family, integrity, and service to the community. I value hard work, accountability, and compassion, and I believe public office should always be approached with professionalism, transparency, and respect for the people we serve.

Being the coroner is not just a job to me; it is a career driven by my passion for ensuring high-quality death investigations and providing the highest level of service to families and our community during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to developing the experience, knowledge, and leadership necessary to not only serve this office with competence and integrity, but to build upon and strengthen the systems, standards, and partnerships that ensure consistent, reliable, and professional service to the citizens of Ada County.

Through my involvement with national professional organizations in this field, I was presented with the opportunity to serve the people of Idaho. When my wife Karen and I came to Ada County, we immediately felt a strong sense of community that reminded us of our roots and made this feel like home. Since accepting the role of Chief Deputy Coroner back in 2021, we have come to know firsthand the incredible people, organizations, and partnerships that make Ada County such a special place.

I am running for Ada County Coroner because this office requires experienced leadership. Working alongside the tremendous staff, utilizing our state-of-the-art facility, and collaborating with law enforcement, medical, and community partners, I am committed to continuing to elevate the professionalism, accountability, and service of the Coroner’s Office for the citizens of Ada County.
